Personal Injuries

Arising From

Motor Vehicle Collisions

If you have been involved in a motor vehicle collision caused by the negligence of another person, you might be entitled to recover money --- lawyers refer to it as "monetary compensation" --- for your "noneconomic loss," which means pain, sufffering, and the disruption of your normal daily life.

The insurance industry has lobbied effectively in our state legislature for the passage of laws which restrict an injured person's right to recover monetary compensation. Court rulings favorable to the interests of insurance companies also have made it increasingly difficult to collect from the responsible person's liability insurer.

A skillful and experienced attorney, however, can determine whether there is a right to recover monetary compensation, how much is reasonable, and the practical method to accomplish recovery of  the money rightfully payable to the injured person.

Thirty Four Years Of Experience

Rocchio Law Offices has been in the business of personal injury law since 1976. Every case at my office is handled on a contingency fee basis. That means that the client never pays any attorney fees or incurs any expenses unless the case successfully concludes with the recovery of money. Then, after expenses unique to the client's case have been reimbursed to the attorney, the client receives two thirds of the net recovery and Rocchio Law Offices receives one third for the attorney fees.

It makes no difference whether the attorney has devoted one hundred hours or one hour to the case. The value features added by the attorney to the client's case are knowledge, experience, and the skills necessary to accomplish recovery of the maximum amount available for settlement of the client's claim.

You pay for results. If the result is zero the client pays zero fees. If the result is favorable to the client, the attorney receives a fee. It's a simple payment system, it makes sense, and it works.

Advice You Can Trust

If you have been injured in a motor vehicle collision, don't be a fool, don't be stupid, and don't be dumb. A fool believes he can represent himself without the assistance of an attorney. It's stupid to follow the advice of an insurance company's claims representative who encourages you to stay away from an attorney and represent yourself. It's just plain dumb to believe an insurance company's claims representative who tells you that he will advise you whether you have a right to recover monetary compensation, and he will determine in a fair manner the proper amount payable to you.

Life should be that way. But, it rarely is that simple. Protect your legal and financial interests. Consult an experienced personal injury lawyer. It's the right thing to do.
